Turtle Cake. This dressed up box cake is sure to please any sweet tooth.

This is a great way to dress up a boxed cake. It’s quick and easy and nobody would guess that it came out of a box.

Here’s what you will need

1 box german chocolate cake mix

1 14 oz bag of caramels

1 stick of butter

1/2 cup of cream

1 cup walnuts

1 cup chocolate chips

Mix cake mix as directed on package. (you can add a tablespoon of mayo for an extra moist cake) Pour half of the batter in the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Melt caramels, butter and cream pour over cake. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour the rest of the cake batter on top and finish baking.

Yummy!

Pretzel Salad. Salty and sweet. The perfect combination

This salad perfectly combines salty and sweet. It can also be prepared using low fat alternatives for a more healthy snack

Here’s what you will need:

1 cup crushed pretzels

1 stick margarine

1/3 cup sugar

1 8oz package of cream cheese

1 8 oz carton of cool whip

1/2 cup sugar

1 20 oz can crushed pineapple (drained)

Melt margarine, mix with pretzels and 1/3 cup sugar. Bake in oven for 7 minutes @ 400. Stir and set aside. Cream 1/2 cup sugar and cream cheese. Fold in cool whip, add pinapple. Add pretzel mixture just before serving.

Dirt Pudding…this is addictive!

This is another super easy dessert. It’s quick and easy to make but hard to put away…you’ll want to eat the whole bowl!

Here’s what you will need:

1 pkg Oreo cookies, crushed and 1/2 mixed with

2 pkg instant vanilla pudding

8 oz cream cheese

3 c milk

1 c powered sugar

Fold in 1 oz carton of cool whip. Line 9×13 inch pan with 1/2 of the crushed cookies. Pour filling and top with remain cookies

Kentucky Derby Pie…You have to try this

If you’ve never tried Derby Pie you should. chocolate, nuts, bourbon, what’s not to love?

Here’s what you will need:

3/4 c light corn syrup

1/4 c butter

1 c sugar

3 eggs, beaten

2 tbsp bourbon

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 c chopped walnuts

pie shell

Cream butter and sugar, add beaten eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla. Stir in chocolate bits, nuts and bourbon. Pour into shell and bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve with cool whip

Frozen Fruit Salad..Easy refreshing frozen treat!

This frozen fruit salad is very refreshing. Even better, it’s so easy to make!

Here’s what you will need:

1 can Eagle Brand Milk

1 9oz cool whip

1 (10 oz ) pkg frozen strawberries

1 can crushed pineapple, drained

4 large bananas sliced

Mix ingredients together. Place in 9×13 inch pan. Freeze. Will serve 16
