If you are looking for a fun and easy recipe to make with the kids this recipe is perfect. Flowerpot Cupcakes are easy to make, fun to decorate, and tasty to eat.

Here’s what you will need:

1 pkg devils food cake mix

1 1/4 cups water

1/3 cup oil

3 eggs

1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

36 ice cream cones with flat bottoms

1 can of ready to use icing

Assorted candies

Heat over to 350.  In large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs at low speed until moistened: beat 2 minutes at highest speed.  Fold nuts into batter.  Place ice cream cones on cookie sheets; fill with batter to within 1 inch of tops of cones. 

Bake at 350 fo 20 to 25 minutes.   Cool completely.  Spread frosting on tops of cakes; decorate with candy.  

Makes 36 cupcakes.
