Next best thing to Robert Redford

I got this recipe from a co-worker.  It is wonderful. 

Crust:

1 cup all purpose flour

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup margarine (melted)

Mix all ingredients well.  Press into a 9×13 baking pan.  Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.  Let cool completely.

Layer 1:

1 8 oz pkg cream chees softened.

1 cup sugar

1 8x carton of cool whip

Beat cream chees and sugar until fluffy.  Fold in cool whip.  spread over crust

Layer 2:

1 6oz pkg instant chocolate pudding.

1 6oz pkg instant vanilla pudding

3 cups milk

Combine the mixes and milk in a large bowl.  Beat well until thickened.  Spread pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.

Layer 3:

1 8 oz carton cool whip

spread cool whip over pudding mixture

Layer 4

1 6ox pkg miniature chocolate chips

sprinkle chocolate chips over the cool whip mixture.

Refriderate.  Serve.

 

Another thought on this one….substitue the chocolate pudding with butterscotch pudding and top with butterscotch bits…it’s yummy too.
