Pretzel Salad. Salty and sweet. The perfect combination

This salad perfectly combines salty and sweet.  It can also be prepared using low fat alternatives for a more healthy snack

Here’s what you will need:

1 cup crushed pretzels

1 stick margarine

1/3 cup sugar

1 8oz package of cream cheese

1 8 oz carton of cool whip

1/2 cup sugar

1 20 oz can crushed pineapple (drained)

Melt margarine, mix with pretzels and 1/3 cup sugar.  Bake in oven for 7 minutes @ 400.  Stir and set aside.  Cream 1/2 cup sugar and cream cheese.  Fold in cool whip, add pinapple.  Add pretzel mixture just before serving.
